Follow Paraguay's southern heritage route through Yaguarón and San Ignacio to Encarnación. Enjoy sunset beside the Paraná, then explore the Jesuit missions of Jesús and Trinidad on the second day.

Your itinerary.

Day 1 · South to the Paraná

  1. 7:30 a.m.Depart Asunción. Visit San Buenaventura Temple in Yaguarón.
  2. San IgnacioLunch stop and a visit to the Diocesan Museum of Jesuit Art.
  3. EncarnaciónHotel check-in, then the waterfront for sunset.
  4. EveningTransfer to Novo Rodeio churrasquería.

Day 2 · The Jesuit missions

  1. BreakfastBreakfast at the hotel.
  2. 8:00 a.m.Depart for the Jesús and Trinidad Jesuit missions.
  3. Bella VistaLunch stop at Restaurante Papillon, then return to Asunción.
  4. Around 8:00 p.m.Arrive back in Asunción.
